My last week in Vietnam was very stressful! Papa & I arranged the dogs papers thinking that they’ll be able to come with me last Friday here in PI. Up to the last minute, the agent gave nothing but headache. Problems arise one by one keeping us behind to our schedule. And in the end, the efforts were wasted! I came home without my dogs & I still dunno if they’re still coming or not!

I saw Jeff once last week and I know that I’ll miss him so much. Enough of him for a while…I’ll still see him when I get back there, soon!

Jake arrived last Thursday from Bangkok (he’s on his SE Asia tour for the ASEAN’s 40th anniversary & he’s the one covering the book! great eh?). I was thrilled knowing that finally I’ll be able to meet him. Wasted Thursday - that’s what about to happen but sadly he needed to fly to Dak Lak in the evening…sad Joyce! (darn, why VN air don’t have AM flights, huh???) Anyway, I’m still happy though! Time isn’t enough but it’s worth remembering!

The next day I flew to PI…got so impatient while on the plane. All I wanna do is go home soon and I can’t wait anymore! My bum’s painful and I just wanna rest! Mama was the one who fetched me from the airport then the next best thing happened is that I am HOME!

HUGS and KISSES from my angels! that’s what I received when I arrived, then facial muscles came back to their senses and put a BIG CHEESY SMILE. Nothing beats Andrea and Aaron’s power to heal tiredness, haha!

Saturday was family day, we went out and did some shopping, woot! Andrea got her new big bag! It is so big that it looks like a traveling bag already.

Sunday was REGADA! Water guns are filled, cams are charged up and we’re all ready to be wet and wild, yihooo! We headed to Poell’s crib and started our march with the rest of the gang going to the center of the Festival. Music were loud, heaps of people were dancing and drinks were overflowing! Truly it was a HIT! I love it. The day ended by getting wasted with Ramsey, Allen, Nyol and Albert. Poell was so naive not to drink because of his job interview for the next day! Tito Nick’s lambanog was a sensational one! Guys we should do this again anytime soon, hihi!

‘Torture is over!’ that’s what my students said last Thursday when we conducted our talent show at the Culture House. We spent half day watching their prepared performances which they practiced for a couple of weeks. It’s fun that they made it really well and as a teacher - I am way too P-R-O-U-D…

Friday was our Presentation Day, the most awaited time for the students. It’s where we award them for their continuous strive to get academic excellence! During the program, I was touched when they honor our hard work throughout the whole year. They called our names and gave flowers as a present. Truly, an overwhelming experience. After the program we went out for lunch and shared some good old jokes with one another.

Tony, I’ll look forward for the new jokes =P

I was a bit emotional when we finally bid farewell for the past school year. I wont be able to see some of my best students anymore, they’re going to UK & USA to study further. Even though I’m wishing them all the best. God I just love my work!

Tell me when will you be mine
Tell me quando quando quando
We can share a love divine
Please don’t make me wait again

When will you say yes to me
Tell me quando quando quando
You mean happiness to me
Oh my lover tell me when

Every moments a day
Every day seems a lifetime
Let me show you the way
To a joy beyond compare

I can’t wait a moment more
Tell me quando quando quando
Say its me that you adore
And then darling tell me when

Every moments a day
Every day seems a lifetime
Let me show you the way
To a joy beyond compare

I can’t wait a moment more
Tell me quando quando quando
Say its me that you adore
And then darling tell me when

Whoa lover tell me when
Oh darling tell me when
Oh come on tell me when
Yea tell me when

The past 2 nights been good to me. It started last Friday when Rae & I went to dinner. It’s his last Maths training at school and it’s only one week left to vacation - yahoo! We grabbed a beer at Ciao before heading to Skewers for a festive meal. He ordered lamb chops & I had rib eye with baba ganoush as an appetizer, hmm, I don’t know to explain, but the food’s really great, no wonder it’s my Jeff’s fave resto! Partnered with red wine (Pinotage then Cabernet Merlot) soon I got drunk. To think that I have to meet Jeff at 730, I’m not myself anymore! After saying goodbye to Rae, I headed to Jeff’s apartment. He’s already waiting for me at the foyer when I got out of the cab. I was so stupid to drink more than I can, oh yes! Blame me, because I’m in the mood to drink! I fell asleep as soon as I arrived, my goodness, I don’t even remember how I got in to bed. Jeff told me I managed to walked through. 3 hours of good sleep, I’m back to my feet again. I immediately asked if I snored - to my dismay, he answered ‘YES’. I felt like a butter melting then I burst to laugh! I was so ashame, boohoo! then I went home the following day.

Saturday night, I dated my Pop at 17 Saloon, my fave bar in Saigon! It’s his first time here, Papa’s been busy with his stuffs & don’t have time to unwind. So I took the chance to bring him last night. Things got more exciting when Rae appeared out of nowhere, haha! I introduced him to Papa and asked him to join our table since his all by himself. Then Jeff also came -wink wink, I was so thrilled. He’s beside me, should I ask for more? nah, this is more than enough! Though he didn’t spend more time with me, I will not complain. He’s got his friends with him and I’m not to interrupt their party, I’ve got mine, as well! Papa liked Jeff, as soon as he left, my father asked if we fought. He was amazed how Jeff & I get along with one another, we barely say a word! I told him that we’re always like that, we don’t need too much words to communicate. We already knew what we want!

We sang & danced the night away. I was ecstatic, actually up to now, I can’t take the smile off my face. I am way too happy & I hope it won’t end…

Pretty bored today. Got up quite late than what I get used to. Classes are down & students were not interested to do anything now but to relax. To keep myself busy, I cleaned my locker & fixed my docus. A lot of things are to be done but I’m not in the mood to do them all. I just want to sleep. Will someone give me a break???

GRAVITY. It keeps you rooted to the ground. In space, there’s not any gravity. You just kind of leave your feet and go floating around. Is that what being in love is? Feels so GOOD :)

Yesterday was Andrea’s 1st day at her new school. New classmates were introduced and new teacher to be with for 10 months. Last night I checked how she has been in her class, so far so good, except that she’s very talkative and a bit lazy in writing. She said that her hands got tired and don’t want to write anymore, really smart kid eh! It’s OK but it’s not a good habit to continue. I’m thinking of a good plan how my daughter will succeed in her education. It must not be strict so she won’t get confused but encouraging so she will realize how important studying is.

Aaron will start his class on the 13th and he’s excited, too! This is his first time to go to school without his big sis beside him. Will see what will happen from then!

I’m missing them so much! Looking forward to see them soon and be the one to take them to school.

2 more weeks and soon school days’ over!  What am  I going to do after, should I go for my SEA tour or go back to PI? It’s hard to think for the answer. Last night I almost failed to sleep thinking about this matter, drives me nuts sometimes…  I’m  the kind of person that does whatever comes to my mind…it’s normal for me to change my mind most of the time, so it’s really hard to spell what I’m going to do next.

OK, soon I will be able to sort this out. What’s bothering me is where to work when I come back here in Vietnam. I’m still thinking of the school I want to join in for the coming school year. I got my choices already but still haven’t decided yet. Boohoo, so difficult to be responsible! My staff told me that I’m one lucky lass! Lucky in what sense? I asked, “Lucky because you’re young & able to earn more than what you expect” that’s what she said. Maybe I am, but I’m not fulfilled yet. Life’s beginning just now & I don’t want to lose grip on the things I want to pursue in my life. I still have more to learn and to share.

It’s my little angel’s birthday last May 31st, celebrated on June 2. Thanks to my family in the Philippines who made it possible for Andrea to have an organised party. Truly she was so happy. 6 years had past and things changed in a blink of an eye, my only wish for my baby is to stay happy & keep the kindness in her heart. I love you!
