Christmas has been long awaited by my family and nothing beats it from spending it with them! My first celebration of the occasion after 4 years of not celebrating it with my family and first Christmas celebration of Aiken. With all the foods and gifts we have under our Christmas tree, being together as one with family and friends is what matters most!
Franco is the only one missing here as he’s with his friends for a small dinner. Later in the evening he arrived for the exchange gifts. We all went crazy with the gifts so everybody was just soooo happy! For more mad photos, visit my multiply account.
Christmas is for kids and so for adults too
Maligayang Pasko everybody!
Awesome Awesome!!! that’s how I am going to describe my past week. Despite of tough deadlines in the office which is pretty normal in the my everyday work now
I managed to have a very exciting week!
InterContinental Phnom Penh’s Year End Party
‘Twas an early year ender party at our beloved InterContinental last Thursday where Eileen and I attended. I think we arrived there at 7:30, the receptionist asked for our names and when we mentioned that we’re from MAG Alliance, she let us in right away. Why? Simply because we manage all their account works, tsk tsk! When we entered the ballroom we immediately went straight to the buffet area, hey what else do you expect us to do in a party like this? Of course, we’re gonna grab some good food to eat, ey! They’ve got a really good variety of food there and good variety of corporate clients as well. If you’re off doing some sales talk, this is the right chance for you baby
We have met regular clients there as well and have a little chitchat. Some has stressed how difficult business is now a days because of the global crisis we are all dealing. After some time headed home, we’re too full and a bit tipsy with all the wine we’ve drank. Watta great Thursday, right?
MTV Exit Concert Featuring Click Five and Cambodia’s Finest Artists
After days of song memorising and non-stop song playing, the day finally came! It’s the click five concert woohoo
Franco, Nico, Nina, Jayson, Jean, Nestle and I have waited for this day to come and yes the band has made it. After their first concert in Angkor Wat last Dec. 7, they conquered Phnom Penh’s Olympic Stadium with their latest hits!!! The concert lasted for 3 hours where click five have a 45-minute set. Oooooh, Jenny!!! Among the thousands of people watching, me and the rest of the guys are the only people who managed to watch the band right in front of the stage..how cool is that ey! We danced, jumped and sang the night away which was really really fun!!!
Shopping Shopping
It’s been a while that I haven’t gone shopping, maybe because I have too many things and I am satisfied with what I have. So I asked Nestle and Aaron to come with me at Russian Market to buy some gifts for their classmates since their going to have their Xmas party on Friday. We managed to buy some really good shirts for a good price and then we headed to Phsar Thmey to roam and get some stock photos. You know that Nestle is so devoted with his photography and we’re all out support with what he’s doing
Afterwards we went to Pencil to have some more look of things we can buy and at the end we ave decided to grab a Xmas tree
It was a big Xmas tree for our small family. We all got excited to decorate so grab some garlands, lights and balls to put all over the big tree. We thought of pink and silver theme for this Xmas and wallah, a beautiful tree!!! Now all I have to do is wrap up the gifts and put it under for Xmas
Truly there are lots and lots of activities that will be exciting for the whole family this coming days and I am loaded for all of them! Till the next post!
I was at Chenla Theatre last night with Nestle watching Where Elephants Weep when i felt goosebumps on the first roll of the drum as a sign that the show has started. Seating quietly while watching, I already knew that it’s going to be an interesting show. It lasted for 2 hours with full packed audiences. Truly a big hit in the big Penh! They are going to have 7 performances that kicked off last Nov. 28 where the Oknhas watched with glee. Some people gave negative comments about the show but for me it’s not a waste of money! After the show, you know where we went next??? We headed to the new korean restaurant down in Monivong Blvd. They only offer different kinds of BBQ and soups. What else am I gonna order, of course samgyeopsal and denjangchigge for all times
yummy yummy! nothing beats korean food that’s why we always have kimchi in the house
Also, becuase I don’t practice my korean anymore, I wasn’t able to converse with the owner well last night. I even forgot the word for delicious which is mashita, sigh! Over all, if I’m gonna rate my night – it’s 9! Nestle and I needed a break from the office, so this was perfect for us!

I am just so honoured to be here in Kuala Lumpur! It’s once in a lifetime opportunity and I am very lucky! It’s been a short stay with wonderful experiences and I know definitely that I will be back soon…with my family to enjoy the whole city. It’s a cloudy day but still the Petronas Towers are smiling for me
Learning by experience often is painful- and the more it hurts, the more you learn. i don’t wanna remember what i have done because i am too tired of feeling guilty and blaming myself! for now all i have to do is to move on and absorb the meaning of this saying – True luck consists not in holding the best of the cards at the table; luckiest is he who knows just when to rise and go home. definitely i have learned my lesson the hard way
so it’s september 9 today and i am celebrating my one year love for my sweetheart poell. yes, one year sweetie one year…how cool is that!!! we never planned to have a date today, the past days have been tough and busy for us – work, events, gimmicks and other stuffs, so we decided to stay home, even though poell have asked me to go out so many times and yet so many times i have refused him. it’s not that i don’t love you sweet, it’s just not practical to go out when you have family waiting for you, ey, might as well spend our time with them, right?
i have never known poell as a fancy guy, tsk tsk. mind you he’s the one who always work on a tight budget even though he has a lot, sa madaling salita – isa syang kuripot!!! knowing him as kuripot i never expected anything for this day, ok na sa kin un andyan sya sa tabi ko (naks naman talaga!). but today is different, i must admit that i am very much surprised, well who wouldn’t be, ikaw na ang makakuha ng favourite perfume mo underneath your pillow! and mind you it’s not an ordinary perfume ha, it’s salvatore ferragamo incanto shine!!!
ang sweet sweet talaga nya! i swear im gonna wear this one all the time, isang tabi na muna ang ck at coolwater, balik incanto na muna ako, hahaha! tapos me kasama pang picture un bag na pinaglagyan nia…it’s been so many times that he asks me if i want to have a picture of him and it’s been so many times that i said NO…ayoko talaga ng me picture sa wallet, ewan ko ba kung bakit kaya ngayon what he did is write a message at the back of it. it says how he wanted to give me a fancy date and everything but it’s not possible because of the tight sched. i was so touched upon reading it!!!
i love poell, pong, nestle, nepo, sweet, or whatever i call him more not because of the perfume but simply for being so understanding in so many ways…we’ve been in many fights and still magkasama pa din kaming 2. im just hoping, that we’ll get through through the coming years and we’ll survive whatever it take para mas lalong tumatag un pagsasama natin. i seldom say i love you but this time, what i know for sure is that, i can’t afford to lose you!!! love you sweet!

ok ok…i know i’ve been so busy and i don’t have time to write things though i have plenty to share with…damn, it’s been crazy in the office and work just go pile up like mountains! so the real score:
romyr left us for greener pasture last week and now working at Naga Hotel. i will definitely miss his presence in the office
now that i am working for InterCon’s projects, the hotel is almost my home because i am always there meeting the big bosses, whew! it’s a bit difficult having a busy schedule but it’s a lot of fun! one good thing is that i dont pay any taxes like what people do in other places, i am lucky ey?
this is what i miss…chat! i seldom have a conversation with my family now…we’re all busy that even reading news is not doable for me, what more for fun stuff, right?
so many things happened and yet i am lazy to write…i’ll post more pictures tomorrow as soon as my work is over. i just have tonnes of photos to share with rather that words…by the way, i think i will ask nestle to give me a quality 2-way bookshelf speakers for tv as an anniversary gift, i cant think of anything nice so i guess this ones ok
Im back to work since August 18 and it took me a while to blog again since I’ve been busy doing loads of task. Romyr is leaving soon and the job he’ll leave will be shared by me, Riza and Roma. I know we’ll not be able to equal the dedication and hard work you’ve done but we’ll do our best to make your efforts worthy of us
So the past week is really busy between family and work. I don’t even have time to chat with my family, well I guess their busy too, because I don’t see them online. I just hope nothing’s wrong going on in them.
Last night, Nestle and I went to Hotel InterCon. Not really to date each other but to try the Wine and Cheese they have for the night. It’s a monthly event and Ashley (our boss) recommended us to visit and see how it goes there, since we’re the one doing the promotions for InterCon. We got there at 8pm, paid $22/pax, tax included like what people do inĀ San Diego tax planning and you can drink unlimited wine and eat cheese as much as you want. You can choose from 10 varieties of wine that they have – up to you if you want a pinot, chardonnay, pinotage, cabernet sauvignon & savignon blanc.
Im not a fan of cheesse so I drank instead. I think I had 4 glasses of white and 2 glasses of red wine. There’s not much people so I stood beside Nestle all the time and Ashley’s younger sister who happened to be there as well. I met Stefan and Damian (InterCon’s big bosses) and had a small conversation. Past 9, we went home togethr with Jordyan who arrived a bit late in the event. I was flat tired when we arrived, I didn’t even manage to eat dinner before goin to bed. All I had the whole day was a double cheese double beef burger from USA Donut, anyway, it doesn’t matter because I am not that hungry.
Time’s up guys, I need to go back to work now. Ciao!
