For the Love of Wine

Im back to work since August 18 and it took me a while to blog again since I’ve been busy doing loads of task. Romyr is leaving soon and the job he’ll leave will be shared by me, Riza and Roma. I know we’ll not be able to equal the dedication and hard work you’ve done but we’ll do our best to make your efforts worthy of us

So the past week is really busy between family and work. I don’t even have time to chat with my family, well I guess their busy too, because I don’t see them online. I just hope nothing’s wrong going on in them.

Last night, Nestle and I went to Hotel InterCon. Not really to date each other but to try the Wine and Cheese they have for the night. It’s a monthly event and Ashley (our boss) recommended us to visit and see how it goes there, since we’re the one doing the promotions for InterCon. We got there at 8pm, paid $22/pax, tax included like what people do in San Diego tax planning and you can drink unlimited wine and eat cheese as much as you want. You can choose from 10 varieties of wine that they have – up to you if you want a pinot, chardonnay, pinotage, cabernet sauvignon & savignon blanc.

Im not a fan of cheesse so I drank instead. I think I had 4 glasses of white and 2 glasses of red wine. There’s not much people so I stood beside Nestle all the time and Ashley’s younger sister who happened to be there as well. I met Stefan and Damian (InterCon’s big bosses) and had a small conversation. Past 9, we went home togethr with Jordyan who arrived a bit late in the event. I was flat tired when we arrived, I didn’t even manage to eat dinner before goin to bed. All I had the whole day was a double cheese double beef burger from USA Donut, anyway, it doesn’t matter because I am not that hungry.

Time’s up guys, I need to go back to work now. Ciao!

Raw Male

I am slowly back to my normal life again, and last night is my first time to go out with my friends after months of being preggy. We went to the opening of Raw Male Bar & Spa near  Sihanouk Blvd. where some of my gay friends made a performance. The show was applauded by locals and foreigners, which means they did a great job!

Do I look like I just gave birth last July 23?

Bi is a korean word for rain and this afternoon it rained heavily that Nina got crazy thinking of the foods that suit her taste buds during this kind of weather…fishballs, champorado, goto, pancit malabon, palabok fiesta at Jollibee and ice cream (lahat ng binanggit nya masarap). I then remembered something, it was 4th year high school that I started eating ice cream when it’s raining! I know, it’s already cold because of the rain and yet I’m still eating ice cream. So what, it makes me feel good kasi lagi akong nililibre nung tropa ko, hahaha!!!

For almost 4 years now, I have stopped eating ice cream when it’s raining kasi wala ng nanlilibre sa kin. Now that I have ‘Italian Gellato’ in the freezer and it’s still raining, I think, I’m gonna try indulging myself to it just like before

i saw these pix at my father’s laptop and got thrilled remisnicing the days when rodel, nestle and i were still together in vietnam!!! taken at my father’s place right after nestle’s work…this is just so sweet, i never imagined na makakasama ko ang 2 tao na to sa abroad at sa mga kalokohan, to think na di naman kami close nung high school days, kahit na magkakaklase kami, hahaha!!! ang panahon nga naman ano – nagbabago!

by the way, the date on the pic is a mistake. it’s supposed to be 2007/08 not like the one written on it. last year lang to and yet so many things had happened already

ano kaya kung di ako umalis ng vietnam, ano na kaya ang ginagawa ko ngaun? si rodel kaya at si pong nasa vietnam pa din? bigla tuloy akong napaisip, hehehe!

there’s a solar eclipse today, unfortunately we weren’t able to see it here in cambodia because of the weather   i hope it will be shown in us news and national news  so i will have a chance to see it. i didn’t do much this first day-first friday of the month as i am still on my recovery period after giving birth last july 23. i am still in pain though it’s already manageable…i can work on some light household chores now and assist the kids with their needs. however, i have to be very careful, mahirap kaya ang mabinat!!! i have experienced chills in the night when i am asleep and it scares me when it happens

also, i can wear some of my old clothes now which makes me more happy…little by little, i’ll be back in shape and fit again to work, so i really need to boost back my self confidence before anything else.

gotta catch some sleep now…chao!
