Christmas has been long awaited by my family and nothing beats it from spending it with them! My first celebration of the occasion after 4 years of not celebrating it with my family and first Christmas celebration of Aiken. With all the foods and gifts we have under our Christmas tree, being together as one with family and friends is what matters most!
Franco is the only one missing here as he’s with his friends for a small dinner. Later in the evening he arrived for the exchange gifts. We all went crazy with the gifts so everybody was just soooo happy! For more mad photos, visit my multiply account.
Christmas is for kids and so for adults too
Maligayang Pasko everybody!
Awesome Awesome!!! that’s how I am going to describe my past week. Despite of tough deadlines in the office which is pretty normal in the my everyday work now
I managed to have a very exciting week!
InterContinental Phnom Penh’s Year End Party
‘Twas an early year ender party at our beloved InterContinental last Thursday where Eileen and I attended. I think we arrived there at 7:30, the receptionist asked for our names and when we mentioned that we’re from MAG Alliance, she let us in right away. Why? Simply because we manage all their account works, tsk tsk! When we entered the ballroom we immediately went straight to the buffet area, hey what else do you expect us to do in a party like this? Of course, we’re gonna grab some good food to eat, ey! They’ve got a really good variety of food there and good variety of corporate clients as well. If you’re off doing some sales talk, this is the right chance for you baby
We have met regular clients there as well and have a little chitchat. Some has stressed how difficult business is now a days because of the global crisis we are all dealing. After some time headed home, we’re too full and a bit tipsy with all the wine we’ve drank. Watta great Thursday, right?
MTV Exit Concert Featuring Click Five and Cambodia’s Finest Artists
After days of song memorising and non-stop song playing, the day finally came! It’s the click five concert woohoo
Franco, Nico, Nina, Jayson, Jean, Nestle and I have waited for this day to come and yes the band has made it. After their first concert in Angkor Wat last Dec. 7, they conquered Phnom Penh’s Olympic Stadium with their latest hits!!! The concert lasted for 3 hours where click five have a 45-minute set. Oooooh, Jenny!!! Among the thousands of people watching, me and the rest of the guys are the only people who managed to watch the band right in front of the stage..how cool is that ey! We danced, jumped and sang the night away which was really really fun!!!
Shopping Shopping
It’s been a while that I haven’t gone shopping, maybe because I have too many things and I am satisfied with what I have. So I asked Nestle and Aaron to come with me at Russian Market to buy some gifts for their classmates since their going to have their Xmas party on Friday. We managed to buy some really good shirts for a good price and then we headed to Phsar Thmey to roam and get some stock photos. You know that Nestle is so devoted with his photography and we’re all out support with what he’s doing
Afterwards we went to Pencil to have some more look of things we can buy and at the end we ave decided to grab a Xmas tree
It was a big Xmas tree for our small family. We all got excited to decorate so grab some garlands, lights and balls to put all over the big tree. We thought of pink and silver theme for this Xmas and wallah, a beautiful tree!!! Now all I have to do is wrap up the gifts and put it under for Xmas
Truly there are lots and lots of activities that will be exciting for the whole family this coming days and I am loaded for all of them! Till the next post!
I was at Chenla Theatre last night with Nestle watching Where Elephants Weep when i felt goosebumps on the first roll of the drum as a sign that the show has started. Seating quietly while watching, I already knew that it’s going to be an interesting show. It lasted for 2 hours with full packed audiences. Truly a big hit in the big Penh! They are going to have 7 performances that kicked off last Nov. 28 where the Oknhas watched with glee. Some people gave negative comments about the show but for me it’s not a waste of money! After the show, you know where we went next??? We headed to the new korean restaurant down in Monivong Blvd. They only offer different kinds of BBQ and soups. What else am I gonna order, of course samgyeopsal and denjangchigge for all times
yummy yummy! nothing beats korean food that’s why we always have kimchi in the house
Also, becuase I don’t practice my korean anymore, I wasn’t able to converse with the owner well last night. I even forgot the word for delicious which is mashita, sigh! Over all, if I’m gonna rate my night – it’s 9! Nestle and I needed a break from the office, so this was perfect for us!
