Good Food For The Week :-)

Since the new year came, we’ve been always busy going out and eating, if not I am busy browsing my big recipe book courtesy of InterContinental Phnom Penh for some not-so-difficult menus :D I think it’s time for me to improve my cooking because as time pass by, i get sick of whatever dish I serve for my family. It’s always the usual – sinigang, nilaga, fried chicken, adobo, veggies and some more which is pretty common for a daily Filipino family.

Last Wednesday, it’s Melissa’s birthday and she had a Tex-Mex party at the Garden Centre Cafe. Thursday is another dinner, this time at Bistro Romano of Naga World Phnom Penh. Their specialty is Italian cuisine which is truly delizioso!!!I can’t remember all the dishes that they prepared for us but the experience will never be forgotten. Oh by the way I have asked Nestle that we should come back to Bistro Romano soon to eat more parmesan cheese which they offer with Bellagio! I can hear someone saying “fattening , fattening” but keber, I will just eat till I get bloated :P Friday, I prepared bulgogi and pork sio mai so I’ll just cook it the next day.

And today is my bulgogi day together with vietnamese banh trang, (it’s rice noodles together with pork, lettuce and cucumber dipped in sweetened fish sauce) plus my pork sio mai. I’ve seen Nestle and the kids enjoyed the food and I am extremely happy about it.

Next plan, Japanese dinner…teriyaki!!!
