you’re reading it right, it’s not sweet and sour as supposed but spicy and sour i was out with my colleague sorya earlier when we passed a stall of a calamansi tree vendor. chinese new year is coming very soon and during this time thousands of calamansi trees are being sold for decorations. in chinese tradition they normally use it as a lucky tree because the tree is full of fruit and you know that in their culture, anything that is round is considered lucky and symbolises money but the twist here is that they don’t get to eat the fruit. what they’ll do is to let it rippened and then throw the tree away after the celebration. what a waste, ey! so being practical, i decided to buy a tree for welcoming the year of the ox, hoping that...
