Sott Kelby’s World Wide Photo Walk

After 2 days of typhoon and non-stop raining since we arrived from Cambodia, the weather finally paved on our way and made Scott Kelby’s World Wide Photo Walk – Cavite City a success!

67 photographers of all kinds met at Mc Donald’s Cavite City for the briefing and start of the event. We also made new friends with fellow cam-lovers like us and shared knowledge on how to take really good photos. We visited various places in town like the two bases (Philippine Navy and Sangly Point Airbase) where we were escorted by the armed forces, Cavite City Zoo and Dose Palmas. It’s my first time to be in an event like this, very much different from the ones I organized before. I have to say that I am starting to love photography though I am still lazy to maximize my knowledge and resources. Nevertheless, I believe that occasions like this will surely happen again…hopefully soon!

I wasn’t able to take pictures earlier as my battery didn’t charge so instead of wasting my time being annoyed, I grabbed my Canon video cam and filmed instead. I may not be able to enter the contest as I don’t have anything to submit but the friends and people I have met are PRICELESS!
