December 21, 2012 is the date, something we have to remember and the beginning of the end. Come again. Beginning of the end? What do you mean?
I don’t wanna sound like a fool here but what I am trying to say is what will really happen in 2012. There are many speculations but none of them were proven yet and I am talking about what they so called “DOOM’S DAY”. It all started when Nico and Jayson introduced the movie about Nostradamus’ prophecies, where he has mentioned several possibilities that could happen in 2012. Then next is the movie directed by Roland Emmerich entitled 2012 with John Cusack as the leading actor. It is not out yet in the cinemas but it’s already drawing audiences in great numbers.
In the movie they featured the Mayans who made the first long count calendar and they have depicted that the year will bring major catastrophes in the world. Some possibilities includes the near earth sightings, magnetic pole shift, explosion from the black hole at the centre of our galaxy, religious apocalypse, alien invasion (which is not really proven if there has any), Gamma Ray Burst, Cosmic Rays, Flu Pandemic and many more.
Will the world end in 2012? Honestly, I don’t know. But if these things are really gonna happen then I guess I have nothing to do aside from accepting it. How can I defy nature? I am not a superhuman with superpowers who could simply snap fingers and chant words. I am only human and that’s it. I am not scared for I believe that everything has an ending but come to think of it, we only have 3 more years to enjoy here on earth. Dang! I haven’t explored much things yet and I still have dreams to achieve!!! I don’t wanna die yet! On the other side, if these are all true, maybe I should start doing more valuable things than being lazy, start saying I love you more often to the people I love, learn to cook good food, travel to places where I haven’t been to or maybe simply dedicate more time with my family. Life is short and nobody knows what will happen to us tomorrow. Maybe it is time for us to value and make life worthwhile rather than waiting for the catastrophes to come, right?

I don’t feel good these past days 
I can feel my body needs rest but I don’t feel tired. I am not even stressed but I couldn’t get a good sleep. I dunno what’s happening and all I want is to be back to normal. Sigh.
Nestle and I were on our way to his ‘suki‘ to buy a new 24-70mm lens with 2.8 aperture when a familiar banner caught my eyes. VNC down in Sihanouk is on SALE, woooweeet! It’s only a couple of days ago that I am thinking of buying new shoes and wallah, my wish is granted 
I am such a bargain hunter and it’s recession everywhere so I have to manage my finances and at the same time buy my ‘NEEDS’. VNC has cool collection at all times and I love their designs! I fitted several styles and chose 3 pairs in the end. I bought 2 cute high heels and a silver flat doll shoes. I remember the sales lady giggling while I can’t manage to decide which one to buy, hahaha! I was hit by last Sunday’s bible study at the Bethany Baptist Church, the topic is about appreciation. Before coming to church I received a call from Tita Eva saying if I could make ‘lumpiang shanghai’ for Tito Roman as it’s his birthday celebration in the afternoon and plus the fact they all loved the one I gave them – ‘ang sarap kasi ng timpla mo‘ as Tita Eva said.
Dun sa bible study, sabi dapat daw maging appreciative tayo which is one of my so called defect. Inde kasi ako masyado naniniwala kapag napupuri yun mga ginagawa ko, lagi bang me hesitation though natutuwa ako sa naging achievement ko. Inde ko alam kung matatawa ako dun sa sermon basta alam ko bull’s eye talaga. Nature na kasi nating mga pinoy na laging me second thoughts pagnapupuri which is really not good. Dapat alisin natin ang doubts at tanggapin natin ng buong puso ang pagpuri sa tin.
From now I will not be doubtful in accepting compliments. Deserving naman ako para dun eh
The burial of President Cory Aquino took 8 long hours from the expected 2 hours in schedule. I am writing this to praise the 4 courageous guards of Pres. Cory while she is being delivered to her last ‘pitstop’ in Manila Memorial Park – Paranaque. Four officials from the Philippine Navy, Philippine Air Force, Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police patiently stood 8 hours without moving a single joint and without showing any emotion of hunger and thirst. Isa lang ang masasabi ko, saludo po ako sa katatagan ninyo. Inde matatawaran ang paglilingkod na ginawa ninyo para sa mga huling sandali ni Pres. Aquino.

A woman of courage, a housewife, the first Philippine female president, mother of Philippine democracy -that’s what Cory Aquino is.
Nestle & I were waiting to depart to Phnom Penh, Cambodia when we learned that Cory Aquino already passed away at 3am in the morning of August 1, 2009. I knew for a fact that our country has lost a great icon but the teachings and works she has done will forever live. Many Filipinos owe what they have now in life to the late President. When her husband Ninoy Aquino died in 1983, she stood up for her fellow countrymen and fought the Marcos regime. There she became the first female president of the Philippine Republic after the snap election in 1986. So many things she has done for the country, so many lives she has touched and so many people has loved her.
We thank you for the democracy that we are cherishing. We know that you are now in the hands of God and happily embraced by your beloved husband. We do hope that what you have fought for us will never be forgotten. We praise and adore you. Rest in Peace President Cory Aquino.
