The alleged Persona Non-Grata of the Year Jacque Bermejo of Dubai, UAE finally made her comments about the incident in Facebook.
Here are the statements she gave to ABS-CBN Middle East News Bureau:
“Because of these incidents, I reported such abuses and sent my credentials to the administrators of such sites, particularly Facebook. I have been abused and am still being abused online in social networking websites such as Facebook, Friendster, Multiply etc,” .
“These malicious statement(s) which are posted under account names Jacque or Jackie are not of my doing. It is unfortunate that such statements were maliciously attributed to me and I do sympathize and understand the adverse and somehow verbally violent reaction that has been elicited by such insensitive statements or posts. Rest assured, I have taken every legal step that can be done in this regard,”.
“I am devastated and shocked at the extent my character, my personal information and private space have been violated,”.
Does this proves she is innocent? I am still in doubt. One detail from her statement said that her account was hacked and that she deactivated it long time ago. Now, my question is, how can you deactivate your account when it’s already hacked? You cannot access it anymore because the moment the hacker got the chance, he will definitely change all the possible details on how you can access it. Anyway, I don’t want to waste my energy anymore. Whosoever has made this comment, be it her or another person, I want to tell you that you have successfully stirred us on our seats and got really annoyed by your heartless comment. For the readers, it’s all up to you now to judge her statements. Will you believe that Jacque Bermejo is innocent true or not?

I dedicate this song to my fellow countrymen. May the good Lord bless our land once again.
Typhoon Ketsana/Ondoy is already out of the country but Philippines is expecting another typhoon coming this week (again). Let us continue praying for His guidance. We Filipinos are strong and we will overcome these calamities when we are helping out each other.
TXTPower already raised P486,328.39 ($10,548.05) via Paypal. Thank you to all those kindhearted people that donated for the victims of Ondoy. Should you like to give help, please read here for more details.
Jacque Bermejo who currently works in Dubai, UAE became an instant hit and favourite in just a matter of hours after posting a reckless comment in Facebook, one of the largest social network in the world.
In times of crisis, I wanna know where she got all the guts to say the words and be proud of her self righteousness! Since last night, I was irritated by her. My sister Chele’s family house in Pasig is now in deep waters and so with many Filipinos. Suddenly, a faggot-minded human being who doesn’t know what true Christianity means commented that all the Filipinos are sinners and that we/they deserves what happened!!!
I will cut this short as I don’t want to ruin my beautiful day by ending super irritated by her. I do hope that Jacque will have longer life and that she may find happiness and peace out from the wrath of angry Filipinos.
God Bless Philippines. I believe that you can surpass this once again just like what we had experienced in the past.
Typhoon Ondoy has killed 40 people after bringing too much rain. The amount of rain Ondoy brought in 6 hours pouring is the same amount that the country receives in a month. Thus, causing floods to the National Capital region and this leaves the civilians no choice but to stay above their roofs for their safety. Typhoon Ondoy also caused wide-spread blackouts.
The government already declared that Manila and 25 other provinces in Luzon are under state of calamity. Where businesses and transportation are paralyzed. The calamity declaration allows officials to withdraw emergency money for relief and rescue. The massive floods turned wide areas of the metropolis virtually into a sea. Families from across various sectors, including the middle class living in gated communities, were among those marooned in their homes, many stranded on their roofs.
The Philippine Navy even mentioned that this is their first time to received such a huge number of calls for help.
The waters rose to 5 meters in some places, commuters plodded through the floods and motorists were forced to drive around in circles just to avoid getting stranded in the surging waters. Many civilians evacuated to centers.
Even President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo rode an Army truck to check the extent of flooding around Malacañang. She later took the Light Rail Transit (LRT) to attend a meeting of disaster officials at Camp Aguinaldo.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported that at least 90 percent of major thoroughfares in the capital was submerged in floodwaters, bringing traffic in several portions of EDSA (Epifanio delos Santos Avenue) to a stop for hours.
Metro Manila’s average rainfall for September is 391.7 millimeters. In six hours, Ondoy dumped 341 millimeters of rainfall.
“It’s unusual,” Pagasa weather forecaster Bernie de Leon said. It was also the worst case of flooding seen by Pagasa in recent years, he said.
De Leon said the heavy rainfall might be a “manifestation of climate change.” He added: “It’s not conclusive but it could be one of the reasons,” he said.
The following provinces were placed under a state of calamity: Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Zambales, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Quezon, Isabela, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, La Union, Ilocos Sur, Laguna, Batangas, Cavite, Mindoro Occidental, Mindoro Oriental, Marinduque, Camarines Norte and Bataan.
Many civilians are now asking for help and there are many organisations who are donating goods and cash to immediately reach the civilians in their towns and evacuation centres. Typhoon Ondoy is expected to be out of the country today and while the nation is under a catastrophe, please do not stop praying for everyone’s safety. Should you wish to donate for our fellowmen, please visit the nearest malls in your place where they accept donations. If you are not in the Philippines, you can donate direct to the Philippine National Red Cross or though Paypal direct.
Just this morning, Manila is flooded by typhoon Ondoy while it continually hits Luzon with non-stop rain.
According to NDCC’s last report, there are many areas in the National Capital Region (NCR) that are not passable. This includes Malabon, E. Rodriguez cor Araneta Avenue in Quezon City, Palasan in Valenzuela, Brgys. 180, 185, 187, in Pasay, Brgy. Santolan in Pasig, Brgy. Mandalay in Marikina, Brgy. Tunasan in Muntinlupa and Brgys. Banaba, Sta. Ana and San Mateo in Rizal. PAGASA added, typhoon Ondoy continues to move with a maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph. and is expected to leave the country’s area of responsibility by Monday morning.
It’s signal number 1 in Cavite and there’s also flood just right outside the apartments where Nestle’s family live. My 14 months old daughter Kyle Aiken took this opportunity to play with her Tito Nico and Tita Nica under the rain. For 15 minutes, they splashed in the flood and Aiken has enjoyed it big time.
She’s really liking the water, she think it’s a swimming pool!
Kickin’ all the waters!
She was hesitant to leave the flood but she doesn’t have any choice or else she might have colds. Truly, typhoon Ondoy has brought simple joy to my daughter’s day.
Before I close this entry, I want to ask all of you to say a simple prayer for our fellow Filipinos who are suffering due to the heavy rains. Let us pray for their safety and that they may surpass this calamity.
Ever wonder how heavy is the heaviest newborn ever? Well, well, well! Prepare yourself and meet Big baby from Indonesia (he doesn’t have a name yet so I called him Big baby instead).
Big baby is the one on the left (obviously he’s big!) and the right is the average size of a newborn. See the difference!!!!
He is a 19.2-pound and 24.4 inches long. Recorded as the heaviest baby in the country. The mother went through a caesarean section last Monday Sept. 21 at a public hospital in the province of North Sumatra. One of the doctors who performed the surgery commented that they had difficulties taking the baby out because his legs are long and big.
The healthy baby boy has a very strong appetite, he feeds on almost every minute. A very extraordinary case from the usual that we see. Even when he cries, he sound like a 2 year old baby.
The doctors explained Big Baby’s condition. They said that his mother Ani has diabetes which caused the baby to grow big. When a diabetic mother’s glucose level is high during pregnancy, the baby can receive too much glucose and grow too large, according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Indonesia’s previous heaviest baby, weighing in at 15.2 pounds, was born in 2007 on the outskirts of the capital Jakarta, according to the Indonesian Museum of Records website.
The internet connection at school is very irritating. If it’s not intermittent, it is supeeeerrrrr slloooooooow!
While at com lab I have noticed a kid several times already whom I think is in kinder 5. He’s so hyper that whenever he’s inside, the whole room becomes wild. Then when you’ve helped him, within 5 mins magpapanic na naman sya kasi inde nia masagutan un games, hahahah! kaya in the end, you will be the one playing the game for him. Wise di ba
I wasn’t able to take a photo of this hyper kid but when I have the opportunity again, will surely capture his image so I can share how he looks like
One of the best things Internet offer is online shopping and I am one fan of this!
I was looking earlier for a nice French press coffee maker on the net and I ended up at shopwiki where they have good collections of coffee maker. I found a cute red Bodum Brazil French Press for only $7 which is really good value for money
They will ship the product anywhere in the world for a minimal fee so you can still save more by buying online rather than spending time outside just looking for the product that you want.
They also have a lot of kitchen items like pans, wine glasses and steamers which could be perfect gifts for your family and friends. I am very keen with kitchen stuffs not because I am a woman but I need them to prepare good meals for my family. Thus, shopping at shopwiki gives me an opportunity to complete my kitchen in less time and less effort.
Just a quick info:
The Philippine flag’s current eight-ray sun represents the eight provinces that first rose in rebellion against Spanish colonial rule in 1896—Manila, Cavite, Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Laguna and Batangas.
Now, Sec. Dick Gordon who is the author of the Ninth Ray Bill believes that this major step will reunite the country once again.
I just thought of what advantage this amendment will bring to the country. For the past many decades, we have been in war with the Muslims in the south. The government said they’re trying their best to control and eventually overcome the troops but till now they’re on the loose. If this is going to be a major change, I just hope it will be soon. I am kinda fed up watching the news about the MILF’s who kill normal citizens and kidnaps foreign nationalities for money. It doesn’t bring any good for us. Isn’t it more interesting if they will give us good news about this kind of matter. That they have literally stopped the MILF’s operation and then we can say that we are one united country. Also, rather than focusing on this ‘9th Ray’, why don’t they prioritise other more important issues like corruption. I assume this makes more sense than the one stated above, right?
I dunno, I am not a political person, and I hate politics – ye know it’s DIRTY! but as a citizen who aims to have a good life, we still depend on the administration and hope they will bring into actions whatever they have promised during their campaigns in the election.

Taken last September 18, 2009 at Udong Temple.
I took the photo while he did the post processing. I noticed that IR or infrared photography is quite tedious especially when you are not experienced in post processing. Watching him makes me sleepy as he spend hours in retouching just to get the right colours for the photo. I even heard him complain about Nikon D90’s stubbornness in terms of IR. Compared with D40, D50 and D70 – D90 is not as flexible and permissive as them. The blocking mechanism of D90 is very strong that even you use filters, it’s still unable to capture the perfect ‘red‘ in IR photography and due to this reason, post processing will be your last resort to make the photo appealing.
I am amazed with IR photography these days. The photos are extremely beautiful and the effect gives the scene a different outlook which makes it more special. Plus the fact that the greens in the photos could turn out white as snow giving a dramatic change compare to an ordinary coloured shot.
I am planning to visit Angkor Wat in Siem Reap this coming Water Festival and I’ve been nagging Nestle to lend me his IR so I can take photos of the temples. He just gave me a jaw dropping expression after hearing me. I guess he is jealous because I will be the first one to do this and might be better than what he can do.
I have listed a few of my favourite IR shots. Just click on the link, to see the photographer’s works
