Time flew so fast, I’ve barely noticed that January is almost over and yet tomorrow is the 1st of Feb! meaning it’s love month again, yey!
Going back to January, I think it’s been a wonderful month to me, a good kick start of the year I would say. Work is fine, family is doing good, been able to buy the stuffs I want and need, and gained a lot of extra pounds (which I think is not good). Those things are what I am grateful to have in life. Now that February is on it’s track, I wonder what will it bring to me…anything will be OK, ’cause I know that there’s so much things to worry for the day than for tomorrow so I’d better keep hoping for the best, right?
Speaking of love month, do you know that February has the shortest days in the months of the calendar? Having only 28 days in common years, it is the only month of the year that can pass without a single full moon. It is also the only month of the calendar that once every six years and twice every 11 years, will have only four full 7-day weeks. Where the first day of the month starts on a Sunday and the last day ends on a Saturday, this was observed in 2009 and can be traced back 11 years to 1998, another 11 years back to 1987, and 6 years back to 1981; and so on twice 11 years consecutively and once six years either forward into the future or back into the past, unless the pattern is broken by a skipped leap year, but no leap year has been skipped since 1900 and no others will be skipped until 2100. Interesting!

By the way, Chinese New Year is going to be celebrated on the same day of St. Valentine’s Day and I am keeping my fingers crossed that we’ll not have classes at school, I am desperately dying for a cool vacay even just to spend time alone in the pool, hahaha!

New Year new game!
To keep myself out of boredom (is it really boring or I am just saying it to make an excuse to do something else? lols) I downloaded Plants vs Zombies a couple of nights ago. It was my sister Chele who mentioned and got addicted with this game first. She works with Dell in the Philippines as a Tech Support (where she gets good dimes every payday:P) and right after work she plays this game all by herself! She even mentioned that she only sleeps for a few hours so she can spend time playing, hahaha!
So what’s the game all about ey?
All you need to do is to plant as many peashooters and other kinds of plants to destroy the zombies coming on your way. Of course there are different kinds of armour that you can use and it all depends on the kind of zombies you’re going to destroy. Plants vs Zombies also has different types of games to play. It has the main game, adventure, mini-games, and puzzles. The last three parts can only be played if you’ve gained enough experience from the main game, so you’d better play well to enjoy other parts of it 
Since I only have limited time to play this (hello, I go to work from Mon-Fri and does many chores at house), I try to keep things out of my way so no one can disturb me, hahaha! I even get nervouswhen I am being attacked big time by the opponents! I can feel the blood rushing through my face when I am beaten, hahaha!
At school, my students got hooked as well, a good number of them are playing it at home and whenever they get together, they always talk about the levels and experience they gained. One rule I have given to them which I hope they’re doing is to finish all their homework first before getting down with the zombies…it’s difficult to be blamed after their addiction.

No words can express how happy I am on turning 27. I used to be afraid of getting old but then I realised that everybody is going there…old, and why do I have to be scared when all I have to do is enjoy the years I have in my life while I am still alive, right?
Through the years, I’ve encountered many things that contributed on making myself strong and looking back to all of them – I do not have any regrets
Thank you to all the family, friends, students, and colleagues who greeted me today. You’ve uplifted me to the highest level by simply remembering my big day! I am blessed to enjoy another fruitful year and thus I look forward to age gracefully and be more mature in every aspect of life that I am dealing with. I love you all! Mwah!!!
