Teachers’ Bonding
September 3rd, 2010 Posted 3:49 pm
it’s my first time to attend a teacher’s bonding activity with my colleagues at work tonight. the new director is really keen to get all the teachers close to one another and to do this, a small dinner over beer was the suggested activity.
some 20 faculty teachers and admin staff joined, and though it’s raining hard, the chit chats still continued. after a couple of hours, i headed home, changed clothes, and played with my kids – car town your rocking our nights hahaha!
oh by the way, my director mentioned that cold chisel is a good band to listen to, here’s a video of their song

September 2nd, 2010 Posted 3:26 pm
it’s the second day of our professional development and preparation at school today. pretty tough with all the loads of things to finish plus the room decor that i still have to do. despite the hectic schedule i have, at the end of the day, the feeling is still rewarding. i just love my job!
oh, by the way, so many people are into fitness dating these days. i think it’s the new trend in meeting new people, kinda different though because this gets you athletic before you date someone. at least, you’re far from getting sick and the rest.

It’s the season to be jolly, fa lala lala lalalala
September 1st, 2010 Posted 1:59 pm
It’s the 1st of September yey!!! And that means Christmas is coming very soon! In our culture, Filipinos start decorating their houses with Christmas ornaments as soon as September comes. Excited as you say but honestly, we’re loving it and we even continue our celebration until the first week of January for the 3 Kings.
This year, we’re planning to celebrate Christmas in the Philippines as we’ve been missing so much since we moved here in Cambodia for work. So we’re really hoping that Cebu Pacific Air or Air Asia will be generous enough to have a Christmas Seat Sale for us to avail. Also, I might buy a new Christmas tree soon (I just hope Pencil will have them displayed early) because I already gave my old one to my house owner. A 7 ft Christmas tree with really nice balls and garlands will do for me
I am excited for Christmas and as early as now, I am thinking of the gifts to give for my family and friends so SAVING would really mean a lot to make Christmas very meaningful and memorable for us. The kids will be making their yearly letter to Santa soon, I wonder what they’ll ask this time, hmmmm.
By the way, September is also a month for celebrations – Papa Jun, Tito Nick, and my son Aaron will be celebrating their birthdays this month. So to all of you – ADVANCE HAPPY BIRTHDAY YO! My son already made his mind to have a pizza party at school, which means I don’t need to cook and wash plates anymore. I’ll just order from Pizza World which is what he likes most.
Oh! I almost forgot!!! On the 9th, Nestle and I are going to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary, wheee! 3 years and still going strong! No calls for party yet, but he’s insisting to go to Malaysia this November for the World Cup Paintball Championship, which he really likes to watch. Well, whatever may be the decision is, I know it’ll be something fun for the two of us.
Before I end my post for the day, let me play one of my favorite songs – Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day. Enjoy!
