89-year-old California pastor Harold Camping, the founder of Family Radio Worldwide, claims that the rapture is coming Saturday, May 21, 2011 and that the world will officially end Oct. 21, 2011. Camping’s basing this on a complex (“made up”) mathematical formula that even Will Hunting couldn’t solve. (Yes, I realize Hunting is a fictional character, but at this point, I’m not convinced Camping is real either.) <— this is an excerpt from patch.com
This topic went viral some days ago over the internet saying that end of the world is coming very soon. Oh well, it’s now exactly 6:20PM while I’m writing my blog post and up to now, no rapture nor earthquake’s going on. Silly how many people believed the old chap!
I’m a Christian and I do believe in God but I will never determine when He’ll come back. Only the good Lord can know the exact time of His coming. No math calculations can be so accurate in figuring out the time and date of the world’s end.
My sister Chele who is currently working as an Iphone tech support in Manila sent me a message in Facebook:
Neng Yarza 1 of my colleagues spoke with a chinese man, requesting to unlock iphone, said, pls pray for me, Im riding a plane tonight and i know it will be the end of the world! Lol.
I’m confident that I’ll be able to see my kids grow and have their own dreams come true. If the Lord will come, I will be happy to welcome Him for I know I’m His child.
For those who are troubled about this news, I’d suggest you to grab a cold drink and relax, watch TV and enjoy the movie. This is not true so chill out and enjoy!
