Eddie Murphy strikes again and this time he’s words are limited to a thousand only. What!? A thousand! No one can live with a thousand words, especially for a man who loves to talk 
Jack McCall (Eddie Murphy), finds an unusual tree in his yard after an encounter with a spiritual guru. The tree falls a leaf every time a lie comes out from McCall’s mouth and as this continues, his life is also in a lifeline. Afraid of dying soon, Jack decided to stop talking which compromises his work, marriage, and even friendship with all the people around him. The only question is – can he last on doing this?
