I like to move it, move it! I like to move it!
Alex, Marty, Gloria, and Melman are back and this time, they’re so much funnier!
Their quest to go back to New York hasn’t stopped and with the help of their monkey and penguin friends, their dream is already within their hands… not until… they met Madam DuBois, the notorious animal catcher of Europe!
Along the way home, Alex and his friends met the Zaragoza Circus animals that gave them a new perspective in life and in return Vitaly (the tiger), Gia (the cheetah), and Stefano (the sea lion) gained new confidence to make circus worthy to the public. It was so much fun watching the animals do the trapeze Americano, dance to the tune of Fireworks by Katy Perry, and a lot, lot more! You’d better watch it better I spoil the the fun, hahaha
My children didn’t cease to laugh from the movie’s start till the end, it is definitely for every one who is young at heart. I love it and I enjoyed it!
Come and watch Madagascar 3 at Legend Cinema, regular screening will start from June 14 onwards

Mirror, mirror on the wall, whose the fairest of them all?
Every child in the world would know this as it’s the most famous quote of the evil queen in the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs story. The evil queen that believes that to rule the world, you need to be young and pretty.
In the movie Snow White and the Huntsman, the story has been twisted quite far from the one that we have been accustomed. The Huntsman that was supposed to be Snow White’s slayer became her mentor and protector to defeat the Evil Queen.
In the battle of Good vs Evil, where evil never reigns – Snow White met many friends along the way to vanquish the Queen. The mighty dwarfs came to help her and so the whole of the Duke’s army. Together they fought Evil Ravenna until she met her death in the hands of Snow White. In the end, the fair princess became the kingdom’s queen, where love and peace ruled all over the lands.
Starring Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen, Kristen Stewart as Snow White, and Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman, this movie is guaranteed to give you love, excitement, and action packed scenes from beginning till the end. Snow White and the Huntsman is showing in Legend Cinema at City Mall on 7 June 2012. So what are you waiting for? Book your tickets now for advance reservation to watch the movie. I am telling you, it’s two thumps up and I know you will love it just like what I did

It’s been a while since I have watched something scary in the cinema and tonight’s exceptional. Colin Farrell’s Fright Night literally gave me a fright, and I honestly thought of going out the movie house in the middle of the story, but hey I survived! I hated him so much in the movie were he portrayed an evil vampire, killing and sucking everyone’s blood to be alive. He’s so much different from his movie Alexander in 2004, which I really like most.
Anyway, prior to watching it
actually just before entering the hall I’ve asked my husband what kind of movie we’re about to watch, I was too busy these past days that I wasn’t able to do a little research about it and so I expected my smart ass Nestle to give me a brilliant answer. And as expected, I was fooled by him when he replied that it’s a funny movie. How could it be funny, when I felt like I’m going to have a heart attack while watching it! Or maybe it’s just me? Maybe I was too blown by the scenes, putting myself in the shoes of the vampire’s victims – a reason why I am damn affected so much!
Summing up my night, I enjoyed the movie and I’ll recommend it to all my friends, students, and relatives who love suspense and thriller, not for the faint hearted though. So for those of you who wants to experience the thrill, book your tickets now at Legend Cinema - City Mall and be prepared to be frightened.

it’s gonna be a whole lot of action babe and you’ll sure love it!
Action packed “Cowboys and Aliens” starred by Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde rocked Legend Cinema Cambodia on it’s premier last 17th August at City Mall. Hundreds of LC’s patrons hailed Jon Favreau in doing a fantastic job in directing the movie, and as a matter of fact, I screamed in some parts where the aliens suddenly appear, lolz! It’s a notion that the movie is really great and effective in conveying the message to it’s viewers
Imagine you’re in a desert inhabited by people with guns and riding horses when suddenly aliens will appear to abduct everyone they want around you, I bet your heart will pound and you’ll be dead in a heartbeat before you could scream for help. Oh well, that’s exactly how you’ll feel when you watch the movie, so you’d better include this in your watchlist for you’ll never regret it.
So much of a spoiler, don’t forget to grab a large Coca Cola when you watch in Legend Cinema and get a chance to win cool prizes. The rule is simple, buy a large coke and get two scratch cards, where you can get free Coca Cola and other freebies, or get a brand new cellphone in their grand draw. Last night, I got two free colas, hopefully next time I’ll win something different

My last week in Phnom Penh is getting more and more exciting. First, school is ending this week, my reports are all done, our bags are packed for our trip to Pi, and last I happened to watch the movie premier of X-Men First Class with my husband last night. For some, it may not be that exciting but for me, this is something I look forward to and it’s such a splendid feeling to accomplish things right before we leave.
In my previous post, I have mentioned that I got 2 free ‘premier’ tickets from Legend Cinemas Cambodia for the movie X-Men First Class and prior to watching it, most of my friends have told me that it’s really a good movie. Well it really is!
Nestle and I were 10 minutes behind schedule when we arrived at the cinema and I felt a bit disappointed, because I wasn’t able to see the intro of the movie. For me seeing the introduction gives more thrill and spice to the story, plus it’s really important to arrive at least 15 minutes early at the cinema to avoid disturbing other patrons who are already settled in the seats.

In 1962, at the height of the Cold War, two men from different backgrounds pool their resources to bring attention to the plight of those with genetic mutations, some that give them extraordinary powers, others that make them look different. Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) is an academic in genetic mutations, while Erik Lehnsherr (Mike Fassbender) is a Holocaust survivor bent on getting revenge against those responsible for his parents’ death in the concentration camps. In particular, he’s after Klaus Schmidt (Kevin Bacon) who years later has turned up as a wealthy power broker known as Sebastian Shaw, who has become involved with playing both sides of the conflict between the United States and the Soviets.
This is a true origin story showing how Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr first met and how they worked together until the formation of their divergent ideologies led them to create warring mutant factions. After watching the movie, I began to understand more how X-Men had evolved. I’ve been a fan of X-Men since I was a kid and I really love Storm. Matthew Vaughn did a fantastic job in directing the movie and it’s epic!

What is sweeter than having a couple of premier tickets for X-Men First Class movie? Legend Cinema Cambodia in City Mall rewards bloggers like me by writing unbiased, first-hand experience in the cinema by giving free tickets for their upcoming movie premier. Isn’t that awesome!
To cut the long story short, my blogging simply pays off by having two tickets every time Legend Cinema has a premier. Too bad I’ll be away for three weeks, which means I won’t be able to watch their new movies. But no hassle, I can still catch up when I come back here in Phnom Penh, so I’ll definitely update my experience as soon as I’m in the city.
Earlier, I went to the cinema to get my tickets and was lucky enough to meet Jesmond Chong, General Manager of Westec Media. He was so nice and I managed to ask a few questions how they deal media in terms of promoting their business. To add more happiness on my face, he gave Aiken a Transformers shirt which is exclusive from their cinema. Super cool!
My daughter looks so cute on her white tee while her dad is wearing his black Transformers shirt.
Oh well, I don’t want to spoil the good vibes coming, I’ll make my post quick and sweet. I heard that X-Men First class is a good movie, so I’d better wait till I watch it tomorrow before I give further comments. Exciting!
