Nestle on IR

Taken last September 18, 2009 at Udong Temple. I took the photo while he did the post processing. I noticed that IR or infrared photography is quite tedious especially when you are not experienced in post processing. Watching him makes me sleepy as he spend hours in retouching just to get the right colours for the photo. I even heard him complain about Nikon D90′s stubbornness in terms of IR. Compared with D40, D50 and D70 – D90 is not as flexible and permissive as them. The blocking mechanism of D90 is very strong that even you use filters, it’s still unable to capture the perfect ‘red‘ in IR photography and due to this reason, post processing will be your last resort to make the photo appealing.
