He is a 19.2-pound and 24.4 inches long. Recorded as the heaviest baby in the country. One of the doctors who performed the surgery commented that they had difficulties taking the baby out because his legs are long and big.

The doctors explained Big Baby’s condition. They said that his mother Ani has diabetes which caused the baby to grow big. When a diabetic mother’s glucose level is high during pregnancy, the baby can receive too much glucose and grow too large, according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Indonesia’s previous heaviest baby, weighing in at 15.2 pounds, was born in 2007 on the outskirts of the capital Jakarta, according to the Indonesian Museum of Records website.
